Celebrated Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Neil Young has announced a west “Coastal” tour that will include a stop at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles on Saturday, July 8 at 8 p.m.

His first since 2019, this tour is billed as solo acoustic shows that will feature songs that Young has never played live before. The stripped-down performance will also feature special guest Chris Pierce, a heralded singer-songwriter from Pasadena.

Released in February, Young’s most recent album, All Roads Lead Home, was a collaboration with his longtime backing band Crazy Horse.

It’s a bit ironic that event tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster, which Young heavily criticized earlier this year, lamenting that “concert tours are no longer fun.”

But Young always delivers wonderful stories along with his prolific musical repertoire, so this should be a really good one, especially in such a beautiful, intimate setting.
