John B. Ashbaugh

John B. Ashbaugh, Ph.D., is a native Californian and proud alumnus of three University of California campuses. He and his wife Patricia settled in San Luis Obispo in 1977 where they raised two daughters, and now help them to raise four grandchildren. John has had a varied career as an environmental planner, nonprofit director, history teacher, and member of the SLO City Council. He now serves as a docent at Mission San Luis Obispo.
