Your Gift
There are images
maybe traces
of tenderness
a quiet breathing
this shared breath
waking next to you
The Bridge
Come from under the sun
Leap into the shadows
Noiseless as rest can be
The strong day straddled
Something so soft and clear
A smile breaks the edges
Nothing lost or forgotten
Lips leaning forward to kiss
