Comedian Reena Calm
Central Coast Comedy Theater presents three nights of comedy with comedian Reena Calm this weekend.
Calm and CCCT comedians are featured in two stand-up comedy shows, one on Thursday, April 13 at SLO Wine & Beer Company and the other on Saturday, April 15 at Top Dog Coffee Bar in Morro Bay.
An improv comedy show on Friday night, April 14 again features Calm (with Stephen Speigel) at SLO Public Market.
Calm, a nationally touring headliner, is “a wordsmith whose material is autobiographical, silly, and charmingly inappropriate.” She says she is the only woman in the country who lives on the road as a full-time stand-up comedian.
Calm has been a frequent guest on WGN Radio, has been featured at Limestone and other festivals, and was named Comic of The Week on The Jackie & Laurie Show. She has opened for legends like Arsenio Hall, Maria Bamford, Eddie Pepitone, Laurie Kilmartin, Phoebe Robinson, Michael Ian Black, Doug Benson and more.
