Artists and cultural practitioners living and working in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Kern, or Ventura counties can now apply for California Arts Council Individual Artists Fellowships.
The program is meant to uplift individual practice for artists of all disciplines (visual, performing, culture bearers, culinary, literary, etc.) at key career stages, recognizing and increasing their capacity for continued contribution to the arts and to California.
Emerging Artists are eligible for $5,000; Established Artists are eligible for $10,000; and Legacy Artists are eligible for $50,000. Application deadline is May 5.
