A program priced at just $75 for teens interesting in writing is scheduled Friday, September 26 from 3 to 6 p.m. on the first day of the 2025 Central Coast Writers’ Conference at Cuesta College.
Dream It, Draw It, Draft It offers teens the first steps they need to launch a great idea through a blend of storytelling, illustration, outdoor inspiration, and serious writing time. They will be mentored by Laurie Woodward, an award-winning author and screenwriter, with special guest illustrator Stephanie Roth Sisson.
Students may return on Saturday for the second day of the conference and attend their choice of more than 30 workshops.
Registration is $75 and includes pizza. A limited number of scholarships is available.
