The San Luis Obispo Vocal Arts Ensemble welcomes hundreds of students from 32 elementary and high school choirs during its annual Central Coast Spring School Choral Festival at the Performing Arts Center SLO April 23-24.
The festival, now in its third decade, provides a professional, adjudicated experience for school choirs from all over California to rehearse, perform, and receive feedback on their performance from professional judges. The event seeks to improve the students’ quality of musicianship and stage presence in the world-class environment of the PAC’s Harmon Hall.
The Central Coast Spring School Choral Festival is free and open to the public, with performances from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday. It is produced by Vocal Arts Ensemble volunteers.
