San Luis Obispo’s premier Father’s Day tradition returns to El Chorro Regional Park June 19-21, and KCBX Public Radio has announced the full 35-act roster for the 38th annual Live Oak Music Festival.

This year’s three-day event features a world-class lineup headlined by retro-soul powerhouse Neal Francis, California bluegrass favorites The Brothers Comatose, and legendary bluesman Charlie Musselwhite performing with vintage-revival blues trio GA-20.

The 2026 festival celebrates a tradition of wide-ranging sounds that span folk, funk, soul, world music, and more, drawing attendees from throughout the Golden State.

Set against the scenic coastal backdrop of the El Chorro Valley, the weekend offers a getaway featuring on-site camping, local artisan vendors, and Central Coast food trucks and booths.

While music remains the heart of the festival, the Live Oak experience extends beyond the main performances. For adults, the weekend offers morning yoga, immersive sound baths, traditional tea ceremonies, and a beer and wine garden.

Aerial performances, an open mic for aspiring performers, an Art Walk featuring Central Coast artisans, and a robust, diverse silent auction to raise additional funds for KCBX also are on tap.

Families have a dedicated space for younger “Live Oakies” in a Children’s Area hosting the Little Acorns Toddler Oasis, storytelling sessions, games, and hands-on crafts, all culminating in a Children’s Talent Show on Sunday.

A full festival ticket allows on-site camping through Monday morning and access to the festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Single-day tickets also are available for adults, teens, and children; kids age three and younger enter free of charge with an adult.

The festival offers Thursday entry for a nominal additional fee with a full festival ticket, and camping in RVs or tents is available on the festival grounds. Tickets, parking passes, and additional information are available online.

The festival is a major fundraiser for KCBX Public Radio, an NPR member station broadcasting from San Luis Obispo, California.
