What would you ask a man who claims to be 14,000 years old?
The Man from Earth, written by acclaimed science fiction writer Jerome Bixby (Star Trek, The Twilight Zone), is a mind-bending, thought-provoking play that finds college professor John Oldman revealing an astonishing (and unbelievable?) secret to his colleagues.
The intelligent conversation that follows spans history, science, religion, and the very nature of truth and belief. With each question and revelation, the line between fact and fiction begins to blur—challenging everyone in the room to reconsider what they thought they knew about life and humanity.
Directed by Bryce Prunty, The Man from Earth is scheduled for eight performances at the Cambria Center for the Arts November 7-16.
