The St. John’s Riverboat Jazz Band

 

The St. John’s Riverboat Jazz Band from Visalia and the Riverboat Rustlers from Fresno and Clovis play “Hot Swingin’ Jazz” at an afternoon Basin Street Regulars concert September 28.

The show, at the Pismo Beach Veteran’s Memorial Building, begins with a jam session at 11 a.m. and continues with the vibrant sounds of traditional and Dixieland jazz, food, drinks, and a dance floor until 4 p.m.

The legendary St. Johns Riverboat Jazz Band has been enchanting audiences for 29 years. Original members Frank Cardoza, Jason Hughes, and Mario Marquez and others bring their undeniable passion for the music to the stage, ensuring a performance filled with energy and authentic jazz artistry.

The Riverboat Rustlers is a new traditional jazz band made up of young students from the Fresno and Clovis area whose mission is to entertain, learn, and enjoy the fellowship of making good music.
