Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Lyle Lovett returns to the Central Coast for “An Evening with Lyle Lovett and His Acoustic Group” at the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo on Sunday, March 10.

Lovett will be joined on stage by his Acoustic Group, a scaled-down version of the famous Large Band that the singer often performs with. Traveling with Lovett on this tour will be Large Band regulars Jeff White, Luke Bulla, and Leland Sklar.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 22.

The March concert will feature stripped-down arrangements of Lovett’s classics from his 36-year recording career and newer material from his acclaimed 2022 album, 12th of June.

Audience members can expect a wide range of jazz, country, western swing, folk, gospel, and blues music.

Lovett most recently performed locally last June at the Libbey Bowl in Ojai.

Other concerts scheduled for the Fremont include a tribute to Tom Petty (January 6), comedian Kathleen Madigan (January 26), and singer Leo Kottke (February 13).
