Wine Country Theatre presents the award-winning musical She Loves Me beginning September 22.
The show, based on the same romantic story as the popular film You’ve Got Mail, features a cast of outstanding local talent. It follows two perfume shop clerks, constantly bumping heads while on the job, who can’t seem to find common ground. After they each respond to a “lonely hearts” ad, they start to fall for their anonymous pen pals—but will love blossom once their identities are finally revealed?
Veronica Surber and Thomas Grandoli star as the sparring coworkers. Director Elaine Fournier and musical director Marcy Irving have assembled an additional dozen local players for the production, which takes place at the Paso Robles Youth Arts Center’s Berg Auditorium, located at 3201 Spring Street in Paso Robles.
The mission of Wine Country Theatre, now in its tenth year of production, is to create an artistic home base for theatre artists in North County.
She Loves Me runs September 22 to October 1. Friday and Saturday evening shows start at 7:30 p.m. and matiness are Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $30 general admission and $19 for students.
