The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art has announced its executive committee and additions to its board of directors for the 2026–2027 fiscal year.

“We are extraordinarily fortunate to welcome Ryan Ashlock and Ryan Caldwell to an already remarkable board,” according to its co-chair, Ermina Karim. “The expertise these two bring, in finance and in community health, is exactly what this moment calls for.”
Ashlock, president of Adventist Health Central Coast, and Caldwell, a partner at EP Wealth Advisors, arrive at a defining moment for the institution. Its expanded home on Higuera Street is set to open in 2027, and the museum is completing a capital campaign and preparing to operate a significantly larger institution.
SLOMA’s executive committee for the coming year includes co-chairs Karim and Cheryl Cuming, treasurer Trudie Safreno, past president Barbara Bell, and member-at-large Celeste Hope. Continuing on the board are John Dunn, Lindsey Harn, Beya Makekau, Mike Quamma, Missy Reitner-Cameron, and Amy Wright.
