The Cambria Film Festival is kicking off its celebration of a decade of screenings with a special event on Saturday, September 19 at the Cambria Center for the Arts.

The one-day 10th Anniversary Mini-Fest is designed to provide a taste of what makes the annual event unforgettable, with more than a dozen short films, a screening of the 2025 feature film Whisper My Name, and a food and wine reception.

The day’s schedule includes two curated blocks of standout short films. “We curated the blocks based on winners, audience favorites, or memorable standouts from prior festivals,” according to festival co-director Lilliana Montero Plummer. A complete list of films is available online.

All-Access passes as well as individual tickets for the shorts blocks and the reception are available for purchase in advance. Cambria Center for the Arts members receive a special discount on All-Access passes. Doors open for the mini-fest at 11 a.m.

“We are very excited to be celebrating 10 years,” Montero Plummer says. “It has been an absolute joy to support international independent film and share it with our community in Cambria.”

Save the date for the 10th annual Cambria Film Festival February 3-7, 2027. “We plan to continue our mission of supporting independent cinema from around the world, while expanding and diversifying our programming to attract a wider audience,” Montero Plummer says.
