Cal Poly’s Pilipino Cultural Exchange presents Pilipino Cultural Night 34: Binibini at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, April 28 and 29, in Forbes Hall at the Clark Center in Arroyo Grande.
The annual student-run Pilipino Cultural Night presents an opportunity to learn about issues relevant in not only the Pilipinx-American community, but in many marginalized communities. It showcases talented members of the community through choral performances, traditional and modern dances, acting, and stage production.
The show is intended to convey the message that people who are different in culture, gender, tradition, socioeconomic status, environment, and more deserve respect, dignity, and happiness in their identities.
