The American rock band known for hits like “Joy to the World,” “Black and White,” and “Mama Told Me Not to Come” brings its powerful live performance to the Chumash Casino Resort’s Samala Showroom on Friday, May 23.

Three Dog Night, formed in 1967, currently features one of the founding members, Danny Hutton, along with Paul Kingery, Pat Bautz, David Morgan, Howard Laravea and Timothy Hutton.

The band’s self-named album debuted in 1968, which included songs like  “Try a Little Tenderness,” and “One.” Eleven studio albums followed, showcasing Three Dog Night’s evolution and ability to produce timeless hits that have remained relevant for nearly six decades.

Members of the band have been touring for nearly 50 years, performing more than 2,200 shows and selling more than 40 million records worldwide. Later in 2025 they are set to release their first new album in more than 30 years.

Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, an age 21-and-older venue, is one of the most popular entertainment venues in Santa Barbara County.
