One of the most influential comedians of her generation comes to Harold Miossi Hall at the Performing Arts Center SLO on Saturday, March 29.

Margaret Cho is known for her sharp wit, fearless commentary, and groundbreaking work in stand-up, television, and film. A five-time Grammy and Emmy nominee, she has built a career on bold storytelling and unapologetic humor.

Cal Poly Arts says Cho’s “Live & Livid” show is intended for mature audiences. “I will be radiating rage about homophobia, sexism, racism and the fight to stay alive in a culture that is killing us daily,” Cho says.

The comedian has become a leading voice in comedy, using her platform to tackle issues of race, sexuality, and social justice. She has headlined sold-out tours across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia, captivating audiences with her fearless stage presence.

Beyond stand-up, she is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and Asian American representation, using comedy as a means to challenge stereotypes and amplify diverse voices.
