Let the good times roll for a great cause: AAUW Atascadero is bringing the spirit of Mardi Gras to North County with a lively celebration that directly funds educational opportunities for local women and girls.
The party happens on Saturday, March 1 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Pavilion on the Lake in Atascadero. Tickets include admission, a catered dinner, dessert, wine and other beverages, live music, and more.
Every ticket sold helps send eighth-grade girls to Tech Trek, an immersive STEM camp at UC Santa Barbara, and provides college scholarships for women returning to school.
For more than 85 years, AAUW Atascadero has been advancing equity for women and girls through education, scholarships, and advocacy. With over 100 local members, the organization has played a vital role in helping women in Atascadero, Santa Margarita, and Templeton achieve their educational and career goals.
