Visit the lively world of 1930s New York and enjoy beloved Gershwin tunes when SLO Repertory Theatre’s Academy of Creative Theatre presents Crazy for You Jr., a vibrant musical production perfect for the whole family.
The high-energy show, adapted from the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, features memorable tunes such as “I Got Rhythm,” “Someone To Watch Over Me,” and “Embraceable You.”
Director Claire Edmonds, musical director Danielle McNamara, choreographer Natalie Mara, scenic designer Dave Linfield, and a talented cast of young performers provide 90 minutes of extravagant musical numbers with dazzling choreography, colorful costumes, and a setting designed to transport audiences to the glittering age of Broadway.
The cast includes Simone Alcorn, Greenlee Anderson, Sadie Badger, Lucy Beck, Charlie Biggers, Jude Biggers, Aurora Lester-Cook, Aubree Duke, Natalie Getten, Tyler Hagobian, Gwyneth Lincoln, Samantha Lujano, Mika Pirozzi, Hannah Murphy, Cielo Olsen, Marco Petterson, Juliet Reagle, Scout Robles, Emmett St. James, Quinn Thurman, and Clara Walters.
