National Theatre Live returns to Ensemble Theatre Company in Santa Barbara on October 29 with a featured screening of Danny Boyle’s 2011 production of Frankenstein.
The film features Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller in a unique production that takes a new approach to the classic tale. It tells the story “from the perspective of the experiment rather than the experimenter,” according to playwright Nick Dear.
National Theatre Live brings Britain’s most prestigious theatrical performances to wider audiences.
Tickets are available online, and regular seating is $20. VIP Seating is $42 and includes a pre-show reception and prime seating in the theatre.
