Here’s a chance to put breathtaking photos of your California adventures to good use.
California State Parks is hosting a photo contest, inviting you to submit your best shots taken in any of the state’s 280 parks. Following last month’s celebration of 175 years of the Golden State, this contest offers another way of honoring the state’s natural beauty and history.
You can submit up to five photos, one in each of five categories: A Wild Ride, Living Wonders, Heroes and Helpers, A Space for All, and Landscapes and Legacy. Photos must be taken in 2025 and must be submitted by October 9.
Then, from November 3 to 17, you can help choose the People’s Choice Award winners by voting for your favorite semi-finalist photos.
