The Cuesta Concord Chorus presents a grand community celebration and performance of Carmina Burana at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 in Miossi Hall at the Performing Arts Center SLO.

Carl Orff’s masterwork, conducted by Cassandra Tarantino, will be performed with a full orchestra, soloists, and a grand chorus that includes the Cuesta Concord Chorus and guest choirs who are participating in the Voices Unite! four-day California Coast International Choral Festival. Guest choirs include members of the Coro Nacional de Puerto Rico and the Trinity Chancel Choir of Denver.

Local participants include artists from the SLO Symphony, Master Chorale, OperaSLO, Central Coast Gilbert & Sullivan, Vocal Arts Ensemble, Resonance, and Central Coast Youth Chorus.

Tickets are free for the general seating concert but must be claimed in advance (limit 4 per person).
