There’s still time to register at a discounted rate for the 41st annual Central Coast Writers’ Conference at Cuesta College. The Early Bird price, saving $50 off the regular registration of $300, ends July 10 for the September 26-27 event.
More than 45 presenters will share expert advice across numerous genres, including poetry, memoir, fiction, marketing, publishing, and screenwriting.
Publisher, author, and motivational writing coach Brooke Warner serves as the opening keynote speaker, and screenwriter, director, and producer Rob Edwards delivers the closing keynote.
“The conference is designed for writers from all walks of life,” according to conference director Meagan Friberg. “Our Early Bird registration special is a great opportunity for writers to secure their spot at a lower rate while also demonstrating a commitment to their growth and storytelling journey.”
Participants enjoy meeting and connecting with fellow writers, and this year a teen program has been added. In addition, master classes and pitch/critique sessions are available for a separate fee. Scholarships are available on a limited basis.
