Printing returns to the historic Atascadero Printery when the Atascadero Printery Foundation hosts its annual “Start the Presses” gala in November.
With the theme “Printing Returns to the Press,” the evening connects the landmark’s printing heritage with the community’s plans for its future. Watch printing demonstrations and explore an interactive digital walkthrough.
Built in 1915, the Printery began as a publishing facility. Today, the Foundation is working to restore the building as a home for arts, education, nonprofit organizations and community activities.
The gala also features food, drinks and a silent auction, raising funds to help reclaim, rehabilitate and repurpose the Printery for community use.
General admission tickets are $40 for the event on Sunday, November 15 from 5 to 7 p.m., at the historic Atascadero Printery, 6351 Olmeda Avenue.
