On a First Name Basis is a two-person conversation that tells the story of a successful, self-absorbed novelist who realizes that he knows nothing about his long-time housekeeper. She, on the other hand, knows absolutely everything about him. As the drinks and witty dialogue flow, secrets are revealed that are surprising, funny, and ultimately moving.
