The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art has appointed four new members to its board of directors: photographer Celeste Hope, SESLOC President Mike Quamma, artist Missy Reitner-Cameron and Macro Solutions CEO Amy Wright.

“We are thrilled to have the expertise, energy, vision and creativity of these new board members as SLOMA moves into the future and approaches its 60th year,” says Executive Board Chair Ermina Karim.

Celeste Hope is celebrated for her evocative black and white photographic imagery. She applies her experience to the website and digital marketplace of Hope Family Wines, where she is involved in other aspects of the business including the interior design of its tasting rooms. She also serves on the board for Studios on the Park in Paso Robles, and is actively involved with Must! Charities.

Mike Quamma relocated to the Central Coast from Seattle. He currently serves as board treasurer for the SLO Food Bank, and has held board positions at Habitat for Humanity Seattle and Mentor Washington.

Missy Reitner-Cameron spent years as a designer at (iii) DESIGN before deciding to focus on her own art and to help make art a priority for others. She re-opened The Bunker SLO as a spot for artists and enthusiasts and founded the Marmalade Mural Co. studio space within The Bunker.

Amy Wright is co-founder of Macro Solutions, an information technology consulting company focused on enterprise applications, agile solutions and data analytics for both the public and private sectors. She is also co-founder of DittyTV, a 24/7 television network that produces and broadcasts music-focused entertainment.

“SLOMA is a growing presence and force in our community poised for expansion,” according to Executive Director Leann Standish. “We are lucky and excited to have these individuals team with us to help make our vision for the next chapter of our community museum a reality.”
