Nederlander Concerts has announced another big show coming to Vina Robles Amphitheatre: post-punk icons the Psychedelic Furs and new wave pop legends Squeeze will perform a double-bill at the Paso Robles venue on Thursday, October 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Both bands have toured extensively in recent years, with Squeeze opening for Hall & Oates in 2021. Led by co-songwriters Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, the British group celebrates its 50th anniversary next year. They have released 15 studio albums in their storied career, yielding numerous hit singles.

Psychedelic Furs, who penned the title track of the classic mid-1980s movie Pretty in Pink, have become a popular nostalgia act, touring around the world regularly. Fronted by Richard Burton with his brother Tim on bass guitar, the Furs performed at the Fremont in SLO last year and released their first record in nearly 30 years, Made of Rain, in 2021.

Concert tickets go on sale Friday morning, May 19 through Ticketmaster.
