An Evening with Lyle Lovett and His Acoustic Group, scheduled for February 28, 2025 as part of the 2024-25 Cal Poly Arts season, has been cancelled.

Season subscribers were notified Friday afternoon that the popular Texas singer was cancelled due to “artist scheduling conflicts.”

Patrons that had purchased a Prelude Dinner add-on will also be refunded. According to Cal Poly, subscribers will still retain their subscription status with the removal of the Lovett show and are invited to substitute a different event from the season.

Single tickets for the upcoming Cal Poly Arts season, including everything from NPR host Ira Glass to the Broadway smash Dear Evan Hansen, go on sale August 5.

Lovett will still be coming to California, with seven different concerts scheduled between February 25 and March 6, 2025.
