A German fairy tale full of deep love, hidden secrets, mystical characters, and deadly betrayal is the inspiration for Ballet Theatre SLO’s original full-length production coming to the Performing Arts Center June 22 and 23.
The inspiration for Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Undine is the story of a water spirit who is switched at a young age with a fisherman’s daughter, and finds she must marry a human in order to gain a soul.
The mesmerizing production is choreographed by Theresa Slobodnik, Ballet Theatre SLO’s artistic director, with music by Italian Composer Ottorino Respighi.
