A revamped San Luis Obispo Friends of the Library book sale of more than 10,000 items will be held in the Community Room adjacent to the downtown SLO Library from October 27 to 30. Thursday and Friday hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Traditionally the Friends held an annual book sale at the SLO Vets Hall, but the group is moving toward more frequent, smaller sales. A wide selection of adult fiction and nonfiction, and children’s and teen books, as well as DVDs and audio books, is available
DVDs and CDs are $1 each. Pricing for stacked books Thursday through Saturday is $1 per inch (unusual books are specially priced). All books on Sunday will be $5 per bag.
