Beginning November 19, a new show at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art, Home/Work, invites you to go inwards, reflecting on the overlapping of home and work, and all that is in between.

Featured artists include Brandy Eve Allen, Zalika Azim, Kate Barbee, Phoebe Boswell, Andrea Bowers, Geoffrey Chadsey, Judy Chicago, Allana Clarke, Woody de Othello, Mary Kelly, Emmett Moore, Sophia Narrett, Greg Scott, and Chiffon Thomas.

Their works reflect on their unique and intimate experiences, and welcome questions of how we achieve balance in our entangled lives of domesticity and productivity. They reflect on the complex entanglements of home life, working life, and the often unseen labors that have emerged in a pandemic era.

The museum also will host a workshop on January 18 with Chiffon Thomas on making sculptural assemblages of domestic spaces.

The SLOMA exhibition will be up through March 5, 2023.
