Kick back—or get up and dance—during an unforgettable evening of funk and jazz benefitting SLO High School and Laguna Middle School bands.
Beats & Brass is happening Saturday, April 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Santa Margarita’s Riata Ranch, in its newly-constructed glass greenhouse. With stunning grounds and scenic vistas, you can expect a one-of-a-kind concert experience.
Headlining the event is The Funk Junket, a high-voltage, global funk band creating irresistible grooves and positive energy. Also performing are the rising stars of the DOM Jazz Combo with special guests from the award-winning SLO High Jazz Band.
The evening, presented by the SLO Instrumental Music Boosters Association and sponsored by Riata Ranch and KCBX Public Radio, features wine and beer, food by Old SLO BBQ, and a silent auction of items donated by the community. Tickets are advanced sale only at $85 per person, which includes a meal and one drink.
