October is Arts & Humanities Month, and the City of San Luis Obispo is bringing back ARTober for the second year in a row to highlight SLO’s fantastic arts and humanities organizations and offerings.

Kicking off ARTober is the SLO Film Center grand opening (aka “The Grand Haunting”) at the Palm Theatre on Wednesday, October 2 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with food, drinks, cinema-centric fun and frightful activities

ARTober also brings Piano in the Plaza to the community for the second year in a row. All month long, Mission Plaza will be home to an upright piano painted by local artist Missy Reitner-Cameron, open to the public to play from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily.
