Nick and Nigel Bottom aim to pen the world’s first musical and just maybe outshine the Renaissance rockstar known as the Bard. But along the way, the Bottom Brothers realize that stardom ultimately requires kicking up their heels and being true to thine own self.
That’s the story as PCPA presents the musical romp Something Rotten!, which blends 16th century Shakespearean wit with 21st century Broadway flair.
The show, directed by Roger DeLaurier with music direction by Paul Marszalkowski, runs through July 26 at Marian Theatre in Santa Maria, then moves to Solvang Festival Theater August 1-23.
