Festival Mozaic’s summer music lineup of chamber concerts continues with three more events July 21, 23 and 25.
The first concert on July 21, at the Templeton Performing Arts Center, features an evening of all-Russian chamber music: Glinka’s Sextet for piano and strings, Gliere’s String Octet for strings, and Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet.
On July 23, the annual “Mozart in the Mission” concert once again features a quintet by Mozart featuring two violas, with Brahms’ Sextet completing the first half. The Festival Brass kick off the second half with pieces by Gabrieli and Adams.
The festival’s “Finale” chamber concert on July 25 at the Harold J. Miossi Cultural and Performing Arts Center at Cuesta College offers pieces by Thuille, Bridge, Moore and Mendelssohn.
