Cal Poly Arts brings 37 performances from around the world to San Luis Obispo in 2025-26 as part of its 40th anniversary season.
Multi-award-winning musicians, high-flying dance companies, performances on the Forbes Pipe Organ, national tours of Broadway productions, mind-blowing cirque, and shows for the whole family are coming to the Performing Arts Center SLO and other venues in the county.
Some of SLO’s favorite artists return, including Jake Shimabukuro on October 1 and Pablo Sainz-Villegas on November 1, as well as four Broadway touring shows: CHICAGO (November 5), Kinky Boots (December 1-2), The Book of Mormon (March 3-4), and direct from London’s West End, The Choir of Man (January 9-10).
Three-time Tony Award-winner Patti LuPone will perform live with her “Matters of the Heart” tour February 25, Ben Folds will premier his new holiday tour December 6, and exclusive to select locations (including SLO) is Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience on November 16, featuring a live appearance by the actor.
Also scheduled: the soul/gospel sound of The Blind Boys of Alabama and Cory Henry (October 24), Emmy-nominated actor Kal Penn (February 26), and two National Geographic Live shows (November 2 and January 28).
Cal Poly Arts will close out the season May 27 and 28 with a special event and a film screening with violinist, composer, and filmmaker Kishi Bashi. His visit includes a live performance at Sensorio Paso Robles and a screening of his song film Omoiyari in partnership with the SLO Film Center at the Palm Theatre.
Cal Poly Arts season subscriptions go on sale June 30, with single tickets on sale July 28.
