Things don’t go according to plan when a successful playwright invites an aspiring writer to his home with ulterior motives. And so the plot thickens, as By the Sea Productions presents the comedy-thriller Deathtrap over three weekends, May 2-18.
The Tony Award-nominated play by Ira Levin was one of the biggest hits on Broadway when it debuted in 1978, running for four years with nearly 1,800 performances.
Directed by Sheridan Cole, the play features Rick Bruce as the playwright and Jonah Duhe as the young writer, with Kira Dobson, Nicolette Tempesta and Don Gaede rounding out the cast.
