K. Cheng hosts headliner and two-time competition winner Don Friesen, as well as writer and comic Laura Hayden and two-time competition finalist Rodger Lizaola.
The competition, established in 1976, brings together the finest comedic talent from all corners of the country. Notable alumni include Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Ellen Degeneres, and Louis C.K., all using this competition as a stepping stone towards stardom.
