The work of local artist Gini Griffin is featured in a solo show, “Pots and Paintings,” at SLO Provisions, 1255 Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo, during the month of October.

Griffin, who specializes in ceramics, fiber, murals, and painting, is also noted for her contributions as an instructor, curator, restoration artist, and founding director of the Young Artists Program at the San Luis Obispo Art Center from 1983 to 1990.

Her work is collected throughout the United States and Europe, and in a permanent collection at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art.

A special Art After Dark reception from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 4, will feature Griffin and celebrate SLO Provision’s ninth anniversary.
