The California Welcome Center of Yucca Valley has announced its sixth statewide call for art, open to all eligible California residents. Winners in four categories will have their submitted work displayed at the California Welcome Center in Yucca Valley for 12 months beginning October 2024.

The deadline to apply is August 30, with winners of this juried art contest announced October 1-4. Artwork must be original fine art or numbered prints (wall hung art only) with a California theme. Categories in competition are paintings, photography, mixed media, and people’s choice.

One winner will be picked for each category. Winners of each category will have the opportunity to showcase that winning piece, but also all their other submitted pieces.

The Center welcomes more than 20,000 visitors every year, including thousands of visitors to Joshua Tree National Park and an engaged local community of art lovers and dynamic businesses.
