A story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era closes out SLO REP’s 77th season in June.

9 to 5—The Musical is an outrageous, thought provoking, and even a little romantic, musical comedy with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick.

Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with their egotistical, lying, hypocritical boss. In a turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy—giving their boss the boot. The women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down.

Directed by Suzy Newman with musical direction by Marshall Keating, the show runs June 7 to 30. The cast includes Katie Worley-Beck, Kamilah Lay, Kerry DiMaggio, Tim Stewart, and Casiena Raether.

Show sponsors are Diane Dekker Clausen, Ermina Karim & Erik Justesen, Brendan V. & Kathryn L. McAdams, Linda Ozawa Olds & Jeff Olds. Libby Agran is show director sponsor, Jeanne & Lawrence Lovelace are musical director sponsors, and Dianne N. Long is choreographer sponsor.
